One of the brilliant things about Mad Men is the way it deconstructs how we are affected by commercials. It does this while weaving the product they are pitching in with the storylines of the characters. TechCrunch has a great article breaking down apple’s spectacular Iphone commercial in a similar way. They do it by way of Mad Men. Definitely one of the better pieces of media deconstruction I’ve read in awhile.
